Watch how I use dry pigment in my work…

I love trying new things, especially when putting together a new body of work! One of the new things I tried for this recent show is dry pigment — its color without the acrylic or the oil mixed in. I found a way to work with it that I like. You may want to try it too.

Check it out!

It’s a bit messy, but I love the powdery mark this makes. Spray fixative works well to seal the mark. What’s so cool is you can mix the dry pigments to create your own colors as you would with paint! Give it a try!

Have you used these before? Let me know in the comments.
