It feels so good to be back in the studio with free time and no deadlines ahead! In thinking about my show, (now up at Julie Nester Gallery), I had a thought I wanted to share.

My show’s theme is Flourish. I focused on this theme in my process, meaning I wanted the feeling of flourishing to show up in me and in my work. It worked! Making the work felt easy, and I thrived!
This made me realize that your emotions come through when you focus on how you want to feel in art or life. Your mind has the power to imagine what you want to feel and what your viewers will feel, and those emotions become your reality. What a great way to overcome obstacles! Forget the limiting beliefs and go for possibilities. What we focus on grows within us!

Exciting news! I’m teaching a new Leadership Retreat with my partner, Cherie Healey, in Portugal this October! It’s an intimate program that helps people optimize their lives in all areas.
