I just finished teaching an Art2Life destination Workshop in Morocco—what an amazing time we had! It was great to connect, share, and make art together! There’s one thing that comes up again and again at every workshop though. It’s an essential truth about art I’d like everyone to know and believe within themselves, especially if you are a teacher and can pass it on.
Here it is…
Communicating this one truth, that everyone is eligible to make art, is so liberating! Embracing this belief for yourself first makes so much possible. It inspired me to teach! Those who attend the workshops are reminded that we’re all creative and can open up more freely. It’s what we celebrate all week, and at the end of the workshop, we all return to our studios so fired up!
