I want to share something exciting about creating texture in your art.
Have you ever noticed how some surfaces feel richer and more alive than others? The secret often happens in the beginning stages – but the surprising thing is… sometimes it’s not about what you add, but what you quiet down.
When we reduce the louder elements, subtle textures start to emerge. It’s a fascinating back-and-forth… downplay one thing, and suddenly, another comes to life.
Let me know in the comments if this resonates with you.
And if you want to go even deeper into design, value, and color, I’ll be covering all of this in the free Art of Your Life workshop starting March 3rd. I’d love to see you there!
