Considered Morocco’s jewel, Marrakesh is home to exotic marketplaces, stunning 12th-century architecture, and world-renowned gardens. Our 8-day, 7-night retreat will be held at a luxury boutique property just outside of Marrakesh.
The Art2Life Morocco Retreat is an invitation to the aesthetic life—a way of being in the world that allows for greater well-being, true self-expression, and impact.
Nicholas and his creative team of coaches and facilitators will help you deepen your awareness and connection to your truest self, enabling stronger, more authentic art and life. Come find the true you, using art, far, far away from your ordinary life. Turquoise pools, music under the stars, candlelit trees, and new friends are waiting for you.
“Excellent teaching, facilities, food, ambiance, amazing community, warm and welcoming a safe place to connect with oneself on a deep emotional level with loving support from the team. Life changing”
Camilla Bullus, 2023 Morocco Retreat Attendee
Each day there will be two 3-hour guided creative sessions. All your art materials will be included. In addition, there will be optional opportunities to work with our guest mindfulness and embodiment facilitators. There will be group surprises and delights experienced as the retreat unfolds to better facilitate your growth and transformation. Your days will be punctuated by long luxurious meals, starlit conversations with new friends, and times spent in the cool pools on the property.
Over the course of the retreat, Nicholas and his creative team will guide you through the Art2Life Practice, with an emphasis on discovering and clarifying your art/life-making. The emphasis of this retreat is to help you make your art/life a more aligned, congruent expression of who you are and especially who you are becoming.
There are different room accommodations for this retreat. All air-conditioned rooms are next to or near a pool, and a short garden walk to the art tent and outdoor dining areas.
"I loved that our needs were met and all felt so warmly welcomed. I was surrounded by colors that I love. The balance of younger and mature artists was marvelous. The hospitality added a fountain of care that exceeded expectations and which enhanced the feeling of being in a safe environment in which to open up for art making and sharing.
Every step of the way on this journey someone friendly stepped in to assist. I feel blessed to have had this experience in Morocco. The architecture is so different as is the climate and the absorbing of all this has kept me flying high for a week now as I am still trying to find my feet as the wheels are now very much set in motion."Christine H. Thompson, Morocco Art2Life 2023 Retreat Attendee

Room check in time on October 17th: 2:30pm
Room check out time on October 24th: 11:00am
While the room check in time for the rooms is 2:30pm, please note that you are more than welcome to arrive earlier and wait at the property until your room is prepared. We recommend that you fly into Menara Airport (the call letters are RAK), as that is the closest airport to Marrakesh and takes about 30 minutes to the Jnane Tamsna by shuttle (cost is approximately $40). You can also fly into Casablanca Airport (the call letters are CMN), but please know that the shuttle time to the Retreat is approximately 2 hours (cost is $150).
We recommend having around $200 – 300 (€180 – 270) for shopping, taxis to town depending on your desire to explore and for staff tips. The local currency is Dirham but more places including the hotel accept US dollars and Euros. Most places take credit and debit cards with the exception of the market in Marrakech – many vendors prefer cash.
We recommend bringing a pair of earplugs. Some of the rooms at the resort lead directly off the lobby which is the hub of the hotel therefore can potentially be noisy and for anyone sharing a room with an unknown potential snorer.
As for the property, be certain to avail yourself of its many lush gardens and pools, so be certain to bring a bathing suit! On that note, please bring clothes suited for warm weather. Temperatures in Marrakesh in October are expected to be around the mid 80’s (around 30 degrees Celsius). Please note that we will be painting outdoors near the pool! At Jnane Tamsna all rooms are air-conditioned and there is wifi available throughout the property.
